Australian stereotypes

The simplicity of the human mind means that when we are faced with something as complex and unable to be quantified as demographics, attitudes and individual personality, we categorise, break down, and group people.

To expand a bit on the topic of how all 24 million people in Australia are not the same and don't enjoy the same lifestyles, here is a a buzzfeed worthy "What type of Aussie are you?" quiz done by the Sydney Morning Herald, which groups people by stereotypes and personalities which transcend ethnic groups and cultures.

Even within the panel of writers on this blog, we would all have different answers and different outcomes of this quiz...

The point I wanted to make is that, people have their own individual personalities, and there is no need to try too hard to fit into any culture. Be yourself!
