How does the supermarket prices in Singapore compared with Australia?
In a series of posts, I will be sharing the prices of groceries in some of the major supermarkets in Melbourne, Australia.
The big 4 supermarkets in Australia are (by market share) Woolworths (37%), Coles (32%), Aldi (12%) and IGA (9%). They are found in all states except Aldi which has not yet setup shop in Tasmania.
On the pricing labels, you will normally see $/kg and a total price for that particular pack. It is easy to compare prices among different cuts of meat and brands using $/kg.
All prices are in AUD.
This is the 2nd post in the series.
